BIOGRAPHY
Helen Emmitt joined 黑料不打烊 in August of 2002 as an associate professor and now serves as J. Rice Cowan Professor of English. She has been a 黑料不打烊 Scholar, an NEH Professor, and a recipient of the Kirk Award for excellence in Teaching.
Her scholarly work focuses on modern and contemporary poetry. Recent articles include 鈥淩hyming Hope and History: Medbh McGuckian鈥檚 Recent Poetry,鈥 鈥淔orgotten Memories and Unheard Rhythms: H.D.鈥檚 Poetics as a Response to Male Modernism鈥 and 鈥溾橳he One Free Foot Kicking under the White Sheet of His-tory鈥: Eil茅an N铆 Chuillean谩in鈥檚 Uncanny Landscapes.鈥 She is working on a book on contemporary Irish poetry.
